How it works
- Start Dashing : Tap "Dash Now" to start receiving orders in your area right now or use the "Schedule" tab to set times for later.
- Accept orders : We'll automatically send you orders with the full distance and guaranteed pay. Just tap "Accept" and it’s yours.
- Pickup and dropoff : In-app instructions will guide you from picking up the order to delivering it to the customer.
- Get paid : We'll deposit money into your bank account each week. Track it in the "Earnings" tab in your app.

Can a non US citizen work for DoorDash?

The estimated total pay for a Delivery Driver at DoorDash is $19 per hour. This is estimated pay and it may be different from actual pay at your local area.
What is the difference between food delivery and rideshare?
With delivery, there are two big differences:
- You don't have passengers in your car
- You can use any mode of transportation: your car (two doors is fine), bicycle, or motorcycle
It’s also a bit more active than ridesharing, as you get in/out of your car/bike to pick up and deliver the food.
