Delivery Driver

DoorDash Delivery Driver Duties & Responsibilities

As a Delivery Driver you will drive to customer locations and pick up orders in a timely manner

Deliver food and other items to customers promptly and courteously

Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times

Well-maintained vehicle: Delivery drivers are expected to complete daily vehicle maintenance and cleaning tasks.

Ensuring the safety and quality of food: Delivery drivers must take care to ensure that food is transported safely and kept at the proper temperature to maintain its quality.

Communicate effectively with customers, restaurant staff, and dispatch team

Stay up-to-date on the latest delivery routes and shortcuts

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable and well-maintained vehicle
• Smartphone with the DoorDash app installed
• Excellent customer service skills are added advantage
• Ability to navigate stairs and other obstacles while making deliveries
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to use GPS navigation
• Familiarity with the area in which you’ll be working
• Smartphone usage for DoorDash app
• 1+ years of driving experience is added advantage
• Communication Skills
• Experience with customer service
