As an occupational therapist, your responsibility will be to bridge the gap between the individualized attention we provide to each patient and the advancements they achieve. Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your specialized skills to deliver top-tier, compassionate, and personalized care to our rehabilitation patients
  • Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy
  • Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns
  • Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery
  • Preparing reports
  • Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines and consistently maintain timely and accurate departmental records
  • Address client’s aspects of performance to support engagement in occupations that affect health, well-being and life quality
  • Performs interviews, tests and assists patients in activities of daily living

Qualifications:

  • Current license/certification in the state of practice
  • Prefer supervision, training and/or experience in a setting serving the same age/type of resident population served by this facility
  • Certification, if applicable, and demonstrated competency in identified areas of specialization
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to assess resident needs and develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care
  • Maintaining an upright position on the feet, especially for prolonged periods of time
