Responsibilities
- Make sure that the customers' living space is clean and safe at all times.
- Provide clients with support with ADLs such as clothing, personal hygiene, and grooming.
- Offer clients company and emotional support.
- Assist with feeding and meal preparation as required.
- Accompany customers to venues and scheduled appointments.
- Follow doctors' orders when it comes to administering treatments and drugs.
Qualifications:
- It is recommended, but not necessary, if you have prior experience dealing with those who are elderly or have impairments.
- Superb verbal, written, and interpersonal abilities.
- Showing empathy and tolerance.
- Proficient in both individual and group work.
- A fundamental understanding of healthcare principles and medical jargon.
