At Honor, we specialize in assisting seniors in maintaining their independence and safety within the comfort of their own homes. We are seeking a highly skilled Caregiver to join our esteemed care team
Responsibilities:
- Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living (ADL's):
- Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)
- Ambulation/Transfers
- Eating
- Dressing/Grooming
- Prepares meals and snacks
- Accompany clients on errands or medical appointments
- Light Housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises
- Measuring and preparing special diets
- Understanding dementia care
- Incontinence care
Requirements:
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen
- Use the Honor Care Pro App and must have a device that supports the most up to date version of iOS or Android
- In select markets, have at least 6 months of paid caregiving experience or be a CNA, HHA, LVN/LPN, or RN
- Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance (required if driving clients)
