Salary: 13$-18$ per hour based on the location and skills.
Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly
- Contribute to a friendly and supportive companionship.
- Assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and light housekeeping.
- Provide vital help from running errands to aiding with physical therapy exercises.
- Maintain client records meticulously.
- Provide one-on-one assistance to clients in the comfort of their own homes.
- Provide exceptional in-home and companion experiences and assist with services detailed in the customized personal care service plan created for every client
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.).
- Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able).
- Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
- Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
- Be a pleasant and supportive companion
Qualifications:
- Have basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities (Bilingual or multilingual individuals are encouraged to apply)
- Complete any compliance, license, or registration required by federal, state, or local regulations
- Have reliable transportation to and from clients homes
- Use the Honor Care Pro App and must have a device that supports the most up to date version of iOS or Android
- In select markets, have at least 6 months of paid caregiving experience or be a CNA, HHA, LVN/LPN, or RN
- In select markets, have a valid driver's license
- Willing and able to work at least two weekly shifts with the same client(s) to provide consistent care and build strong relationships
