Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Summary
The machine operator is responsible for operating machines safely and efficiently throughout the manufacturing of commodities. Their responsibilities include setting up and tuning machines prior to operation, inspecting the manufacturing process, and maintaining machinery to ensure peak performance.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and operate equipment to create high-quality products.
- Before you begin manufacturing, prepare and tune your machinery.
- Observe and assess machinery in operation to guarantee optimal performance and quality requirements.
- Perform regular and preventative maintenance on machines to avoid malfunctions and save downtime.
- Identify and address machinery problems as they arise.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other team members to create production schedules and ensure order delivery on time.
- Maintain a tidy and safe working environment in compliance with business policies and laws.
- Follow all safety rules and standards to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing or production setting
- Strong mechanical skills
- Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and blueprints
- Knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Great communication and interpersonal skills

Physical Demands:
