Job Brief:
Our company is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products are properly received, stored, and shipped to customers in a timely and efficient manner. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate inventory records and keeping the warehouse organized and clean.
Responsibilities
- Receive arriving shipments and check them against purchase orders to guarantee accuracy.
- Count and verify inventory before storing it in designated areas.
- Maintain accurate inventory records with automated methods.
- Pick and pack orders precisely and effectively.
- Ensure that the products are correctly labeled and packaged for delivery.
- Operate material handling equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
- Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory inspections as needed.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to perform daily chores on schedule.
- Follow all safety measures and instructions to avoid accidents and injuries.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
- Knowledge of material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with computerized inventory systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Flexible schedule with availability to work overtime as needed
