Our client, an automotive focused supplier is seeking an Engineering Group Materials Administrator to join their team. You will be part of the engineering support group providing assistance to various teams. The ideal candidate will have experience with SAP, have great communication skills, and attentiveness which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Engineering Group Materials Administrator Location: Olive Branch, MS Pay Range: $25.00-28.00 per hour What’s the Job?
- Maintain and update SAP master data for all items across two plants
- Create and manage Material Master, Bills of Materials, Routings, and Info Records
- Act as the liaison between departments for SAP Material Master Data authorization
- Gather and process master data input from key stakeholders such as Engineering, Supply Chain, and Sales
- Ensure the accuracy and up-to-date maintenance of all data
- Maintain material master naming conventions
- Experience in SAP master data creation and maintenance in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of SAP Materials Management, including Materials Master and BOMs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel
- Experience with document control is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask effectively support experience from an engineering or technical environment
- Adaptability to seek out information to provide to customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-driven to accomplish targets and provide assistance
