We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Food and Beverage Manager to become a part of our team and take charge of our coffee, and daily programs at Starbucks. As a Food and Beverage Manager, you will have a vital role in crafting outstanding beverages that reflect our dedication to promoting health and wellbeing. With their expertise and experience, this individual will set the standard for exceptional customer service and create a warm and inviting environment in our cafe.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement a coffee menu that reflects our commitment to clean eating, using only the finest organic ingredients.
- Providing training and guidance to barista staff regarding brewing techniques, customer service standards, and cafe procedures.
- Make sure that all beverages served are consistent and of high quality.
- Efficiently oversee inventory, ensuring a well-stocked supply of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other essential items.
- Ensure that the coffee preparation area remains clean and organized, following all health and safety regulations.
- Work closely with the culinary team to develop beverage pairings and specialty drinks that perfectly complement our food menu.
- Keep yourself informed about the latest trends and innovations in coffee preparation techniques, equipment, and ingredients.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a barista, with a minimum of 2 years in a position of leadership or supervision is added advantage.
- Extensive expertise in brewing methods for Coffee, Matcha, cold beverages, and operating espresso machines.
- Enthusiastic about health and wellness, dedicated to advocating for clean eating principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective training and motivation of staff.
- Meticulous in ensuring that high standards of quality and consistency are maintained.
- Capable of thriving in a dynamic work setting and effectively managing multiple responsibilities at once.
- Understanding of inventory management systems and proficiency in basic mathematical skills to calculate ingredient ratios and inventory levels.
