We are looking for a Shift Leader to oversee operations and workers during scheduled shifts.
Shift Leader responsibilities include managing cash, resolving conflicts and checking equipment. Ultimately, you will ensure all aspects of your shift run smoothly and effectively.
We'd like to meet you if you're a boss who cares about customer service and have worked in our field before.
What You Need to Do
- Tell workers what to do and how they're doing during shifts.
- Set up shifts for employees and give them tasks to do.
- Take care of pleas for time off and vacations at the last minute.
- How to train and coach new workers
- Check the tools and let management know what needs to be fixed or replaced. Check the cash drawers and make bank
- payments.
- Make sure that health and safety rules are followed. Handle issues from employees and customers.
- Fix disagreements between workers
- Create and keep a happy work setting
Things needed and skills needed
- Proof of having worked as a shift leader or in a similar management position; knowledge of the industry and health and safety rules;
- Promise to provide great service
- Being able to lead others and make quick choices are important for working well with others.
- Strong ability to solve problems
- Being able to stand for long amounts of time
- A high school diploma is best.
