The minimum requirements include:
- Be at least 18 years old (21 for interstate travel)
- Proof of citizenship.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Have driving experience (this depends on the state but is usually at least 2 years)
- Clean driving record.
- Passing DOT physical exams.
- Successfully completing FMCSA-approved training.
