US Foods is looking for Food Delivery Truck Driver applicants to join our dynamic team. As a delivery professional, you will be responsible for effectively and securely delivering things to consumers in your assigned region. This employment provides flexibility and the ability to earn excellent remuneration on your own time.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver goods to consumers in a secure manner and adhere to delivery schedules.
- Using a two-wheeler, pallet lift, or by hand, unload products from the trailer with care and position them in designated customer storage areas.
- Confirm delivery accuracy with clients and acquire valid signatures.
- Customer collections and payment processing, as required
- Carry out customer service duties in a professional manner so as to elevate the client experience.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
- Repetitive ability to lift, carry, drag, or draw 20 to 80 pounds or more of product per shift
- Required transportation and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent pauses (ten or more per shift) while maintaining composure.
Qualifications:
- Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
- Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.
