As a Food Delivery Driver at US Foods, you will play a critical role in the company's distribution chain, ensuring that food products are delivered safely and efficiently to customers. This position is integral to maintaining high customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate all equipment safely, adhering to US Foods’ safety protocols.
- Complete the US Foods Driver Onboarding Program and comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Perform pre- and post-route safety inspections on the vehicle and complete the necessary paperwork.
- Ensure accurate delivery of all customer orders and address any discrepancies professionally.
- Meet scheduled delivery times and maintain productivity rates.
- Represent US Foods positively to inspire customer loyalty.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to solve problems during shifts.
- Assist in training and onboarding new team members.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Class A CDL with necessary endorsements.
- Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience or three months in the food/beverage delivery industry.
- Registration with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Clearinghouse is mandatory.
