Our client, global crane manufacturer is seeking a Welder,Flex Core to join their team. The ideal candidate will have Blueprint Reading, Welding concepts and Attention to Detail which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Welder, Flux Core
Location: Terrell, TX
Pay Range: $20 - $25
What’s the Job?
- Weld structural steel in all positions. Layout, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using tape measures, straightedges, combination squares, clamps, and other tools as required.
- Read and understand Welding Procedure Sheets. Select welding wires, gases, and settings for process.
- Prep material for fabrication per drawings and weld symbols, including grinding, flame cutting, or other methods.
- Confirm parts are acceptable for use prior to fitting and welding, and that requirements are met after completion of work – by use of drawings and completion of checklists.
- Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade.
What’s Needed?
- At least 6 months previous experience
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to use and read a tape measure
- Stable work history
